Casa Di Nonna immerses its guests into cooking in a Ciociara Italian family home environment and offers hands-on cooking classes taught by me, Robina. Classes take place in my Grandparents ancestral home in the charming village of Collefosse in the Roman Countryside, perfectly situated between Rome and Naples.
This cooking class is an amateur-level course No specific knowledge is required! Aimed at both those who approach the kitchen for the first time as well as those who instead seek to improve their technique or to learn authentic regional recipes.
My kitchen is my Nonnas old kitchen, where she prepared countless meals for family and friends. Since then my mom has continued the tradition of using my grandmothers recipes…and has generously taught them to me💕 If we're lucky, my mom will be present at our  cooking class, and will add her loving hands and heart to the preparation!
The kitchen is unbelievably charming and fun to cook in... it's still has hooks in the ceiling from where my grandparents hung herbs and sausages to dry. All recipes are authentic to our region. My grandmother was born right here in this village, and my grandfather was born less than a mile away.
Quality and seasonality of the ingredients are at the base of my dishes along with taste and simplicity. My kitchen reflects regional Italian, because I think it is amongst the most richest and tastiest cuisine in the world.
Throughout the preparation of the various courses, there will be stories, laughter and wine. You will have authentic Italian experience, where you will learn how to prepare the typical dishes of the area and enjoy a delicious meal.Â
