Experience THE REAL Italy!

Now offering cooking classes in Italy!  

Hi folks! It’s been a while since I’ve done a blog, but I wanted to get in touch with all of you and let you know that I am so excited for this next adventure!

As many of you know, I go to Italy,  yearly for the Summer …to shop for hardware for my Geppetta Boards! I have decided to conduct cooking classes while I’m there. I figured why not put two things together that I absolutely love doing… Shopping and cooking! 

This culinary adventure will take place in my ancestral home. In the village where my grandparents were born.  

My cooking classes are sure to be informative and lots of fun! I will be using recipes that have been handed down from my Grandmother and my Mother over the years. I can customize my classes to meet your needs and the size of your group. Please check out my website to learn more about it! 

In my class you will learn how to construct a beautiful charcuterie board with delicious cheeses, meats, fruits, and sweets… You will learn how to make a homemade pasta (gnocchi or cavatelli) with a regional sauce, and lastly, you will learn how to make one of Italy’s  most popular dessert …tiramisu! 

A little information about our house. This home is over 350 years old. It is in a charming little town in the mountains  between Rome and Naples. We are about 1 he. and 20 minutes away from the Rome airport and about 1 hr. and 20 minutes away from downtown Naples. Also about 1 hr.  and 40 minutes away from the Amalfi coast! This will be a great stop for anyone traveling from Rome to Amalfi. Classes last about 3 1/2 hours.

If you decide to stay and soak in the local environment, which I highly recommend… there are some beautiful hotels in Casalvieri, a town only five minutes away! And Casalvieri , you will find amazing restaurants, accommodations, pizzas , and ice cream. 

My  village  has about 50 residents. A small church and an active community. Many  of my neighbors are farmers and many of my neighbors are relatives! We will work with the freshest ingredients and enjoy some delicious wine!
